A drywall crew that finishes what they start.
For seventeen years we have been hanging board, taping seams, and skimming ceilings across Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan and the rest of the GTA. We are the contractor builders call when the framing is tight and the deadline is tighter — and the homeowner who calls us back after one renovation almost always calls us back for the next.
Every project gets a written estimate, a dedicated lead taper, daily clean-up, and a final walk-through. We carry $5M liability, we are WSIB-cleared, and we put it in writing.
- ✓Level 4 & Level 5 finishes ready for paint or skim coat.
- ✓Same-day quotes for most residential projects.
- ✓Dust-controlled work — HEPA vacs and zip walls.
- ✓1-year workmanship warranty on every job.

Whether it is a single basement, a new build subdivision, or a downtown office buildout — we run the same playbook: clean framing checks, square hung board, tight tape, smooth mud, paint-ready handover.

Homeowners and builders across the GTA.
“They taped a tricky vaulted ceiling for us — perfectly flat, no shadow lines. Painters loved them. Will absolutely call again for the basement.”
“Hung and finished 3,200 sq ft in our renovation in five days. Crew was clean, polite, and the corners were dead square.”
“Water leak destroyed our ceiling. They fixed, primed, repainted — same week — and charged exactly what they quoted.”
“Builders we use for our spec homes. Taping is so clean we no longer need a skim coat. Saves us a trade.”
“Friendly estimate, fair price, and they actually showed up on the day they promised. Rare in this industry.”
“Did a Level 5 finish in our open concept living room. Walls look glass-smooth in raking light. Highly recommend.”

CertainTeed, CGC and USG board. Real Level finishes.
We hang only major-brand North American drywall — typically CertainTeed, CGC Sheetrock, or USG — because consistent thickness and core density makes for a stronger wall and a faster taping job. We carry standard 1/2 inch, fire-rated 5/8 Type X, mould-resistant green board, sound-dampening QuietRock, and abuse-resistant board for high-traffic commercial work.
Joint compound is matched to the level: lightweight for fills, all-purpose for tape coats, dust-control mud for occupied homes, and topping for the final skim. The result is a wall that takes paint evenly and stays true under raking light.

How much does drywall installation cost in Toronto? +
Most Toronto and GTA drywall installation projects fall between $2.50 and $4.50 per square foot, including hanging, taping, and a Level 4 finish. Basements, ceilings, and Level 5 finishes cost more. Our free estimates break out every line so you can compare apples to apples.
Do you handle both drywall installation and taping? +
Yes — we are a full-service drywall and taping crew. We hang the board, tape and mud the seams, sand to a paint-ready finish, and clean up before we leave. One crew, one warranty, one schedule.
How fast can you start? +
For repairs and small jobs we can usually be on site within 48–72 hours. Full installations are typically scheduled within 1–2 weeks. If you have a hard deadline, tell us and we will work to hit it.
Are you licensed and insured? +
Yes. GTA Drywall and Taping carries $5M general liability and full WSIB coverage. We will provide a certificate of insurance before work begins on any commercial site.
What areas do you serve? +
We serve all 19 cities of the Greater Toronto Area including Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and the rest of the GTHA.
Do you remove the dust and debris? +
Always. Every job ends with vacuuming, debris removal, and a final walk-through. Drywall dust gets everywhere if you let it — we use HEPA vacs and zip walls when sanding inside an occupied home.
